Marion Decloitre
Marion Decloitre má několikaleté zkušenosti v oblasti vzdělávání mládeže a poslední rok také koordinuje oddělení videoher v Quai10, kde již dříve pracovala jako mediátorka. Jako zapálená pedagožka je tato kulturní nadšenkyně vždy ochotna hájit edukativní hodnotu videoher a využívat jejich sílu k přínosu pro vzdělávání. Svou vášeň a učení z celého srdce předává publiku (učitelům a žákům) s cílem činit kulturu stále přístupnější a inkluzivnější.
Terry Klaban
Terry Klaban – student nových médií na FF UK, absolvent bohemistiky a filmových studií. Působí jako lektor češtiny, pracoval na filmových festivalech nebo v neziskové organizaci. V týmu spolupracoval na testování Playing Kafky formou fokusní skupiny a kritického hraní. Také se podílel na tvorbě metodiky a interaktivní roleplay hry, čímž společně vytvořili hru ze hry. V rámci True story sepsal jeden z příběhů (Den jako každý jiný), věnoval se rešerši lidskoprávních případů a koordinoval stážisty, popřípadě dobrovolníky na dalších příbězích.
Katka Šťastná
Katka Šťastná je studentkou informačních studií a knihovnictví a aktuálně pracuje na své bakalářské práci zaměřené na testování herně založených edukačních digitálních aplikací. Zároveň pracuje jakožto lektorka v neziskové organizaci, která se zabývá mediální gramotností ve vzdělávání. V týmu spolupracovala na testování Playing Kafky formou fokusní skupiny a kritického hraní. Také se podílela na tvorbě metodiky a interaktivní roleplay hry, čímž společně vytvořili hru ze hry.

INDUSTRY Summoning Game Design: Video Games for Teachers
The next regular Summoning Game Design, produced in collaboration with the Audiovisual Centre, will focus on educational games and their potential in learning. The program is designed for active teachers and active professionals in the video game and film industry.

Terry Klaban, student of New Media Studies, graduated in Film Studies and Czech Language and Literature. He works as a Czech language lecturer, has also worked at film festivals and in a non-profit organization.
Katka Šťastná, student of Information Studies and Librarianship currently working on a bachelor thesis based around testing of game-based educational digital apps.

In her presentation, Marion will present how Quai10 works with the educational potential of video games and what makes Quai10 unique within the cinema network in Europe.
"Playing Kafka: The Castle" Game – testing and methodology for lower secondary schools
Educational game from Charles Games studio, in which you take the role of land surveyor K. Through his point of view you get to know Franz Kafka's famous novel The Castle. In the presentation we will show you how the game was tested and how the methodology for pupils aged 11–15 was made. During its creation was also developed an interactive roleplaying game that can be used as a school activity.
True Story – Amnesty International's educational game
The True Story app by Amnesty International is a storytelling platform that allows users to experience real-life human rights cases. It presents interactive narratives based on true stories of people who have faced human rights violations. Through immersive storytelling, the app educates users about global injustices and human rights. The app is used in Amnesty's educational workhops.
In the programme's final part, Marion Decloitre and Terry Klaban will discuss the possibilities and approaches to the use of video games in education.
The duration of the programme is 90 minutes.
Marion Decloitre
With several years' experience in the field of youth education, Marion Decloitre has been coordinating Quai10's Video Games department for the past year, having previously worked there as a mediator. A keen educator, this culture enthusiast is always quick to defend the educational value of video games and to harness its power towards learning benefits. She passes on her passion and her teachings wholeheartedly to the audience (teachers and pupils) with the aim of making culture ever more accessible and inclusive.
Terry Klaban
Student of New Media Studies, graduated in Film Studies and Czech Language and Literature.He works as a Czech language lecturer, has also worked at film festivals and in a non-profit organization. In the team he cooperated in testing of Playing Kafka through focus group and critique gameplay. He was also a part of making methodology and interactive roleplaying game to go along with the actual game. In True story he has written one of the stories (Just Another Day), researched human rights cases and coordinated internships and volunteers for other stories.
